General Privacy
TrainHealth keeps your workout, weight, body measurement, water, and Health data on your devices and, when enabled, in your private iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit.
TrainHealth for iOS also uses a limited set of anonymous product analytics, described below, to understand onboarding and subscription-screen performance. These analytics do not contain your Health or fitness records.
Personal Data
TrainHealth does not ask you to provide direct identifiers such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Address
- Apple Account credentials
Your training data -- workouts, weight logs, and body measurements -- are stored either locally on your device or privately in your iCloud account, depending on your usage.
This data is not included in TrainHealth's analytics and is only used to power the app's fitness features.
Health Data
If you choose to connect TrainHealth to Apple Health, the app will access and write data related to:
- Workouts
- Body weight
- Other fitness-related metrics
This connection is fully controlled by you via your device's Health permissions.
TrainHealth does not send Health data to PostHog or any advertising service.
Limited Product Analytics on iOS
TrainHealth for iOS uses PostHog, hosted in the European Union, for limited anonymous statistics about onboarding and subscriptions. These statistics are used only to improve the app experience.
They are not linked to your identity and do not include your Health or fitness data, personal or account details, or payment information. They are not used for advertising.

For Subscribers
If you subscribe to TrainHealth Pro, all billing is managed entirely through the App Store.
Here is what I can see:
- Whether or not you have an active subscription
- The type of subscription (monthly, yearly)
- The expiration date of your current plan
This subscription status is available to the app through Apple's StoreKit framework. Your personal billing details are never shared with TrainHealth or the developer.
Privacy Policy Changes
TrainHealth may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. Most changes will be minor.
The date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last updated.
